I've been doing them as "Cross Sums" forever, and I've worked out a nifty little chart to help solve them, and I'll explain it if anyone's interested. I was going to send it to Will Shortz, and complain about how easy his book was, but the submission box wouldn't take my message. So there, bleah.

I am absolutely frantic and I have no clue why. Are there any memes running around you want me to do? Spam? Silly things that could serve as distractions?

I average 110,000 or so. I have deliberately not looked at a map or an atlas since I started playing with it though, so I'm having to try to learn the location of some of the cities by hoping they'll turn up and I'll remember where I put them on the board.

What websites do you go to when you want to do something like work puzzles or play games or do anything but think about what you don't want to think about?
