Lestrade surveyed the scene once more, nodding approval to the men who were still burrowing through the debris, even though he himself had long since given up hope of finding anything more than a corpse. No news wasn't good news when a man's life hung in the balance. But they'd been searching since before sunrise, and now the sun was nearly touching the western horizon, and the only trace of John Watson's presence at the site of the explosion was the broken walking stick which Sherlock Holmes had been clutching as two constables had hauled him off to St. Bart's.

Watson! I suppose I can't REALLY blame you for 'sploing up Watson, as technically speaking the movie did it, but leaving him buried there is just a further example of that eeeevile of yours. Poor Holmes! Oh! And Lestrade, having to be the one to hold it together, which of course he would! I second med_cat--we canz have moar??

Oh, I do hope there will be more of this! It's awesome - and thanks for the link to the pics; there were quite a few I'd never seen before.
